is there a way to search all subtasks without having to create a custom filter.

for example, to just find a task with "foo bar", it would be nice to have a simple search field (that could link to a customizable report/filter) that displayed all the matched tasks.

the search facility in RT would be a good prototype.

I believe this is in the upcoming new release later this year from what I have heard. But I agree it is really really needed.
