Linking issues across the hierarchy?

Postby larsf » Wed Jan 21, 2004 7:06 pm

Can I link issues across the hierarchy in such a way that both issues are displaying the relationship?

We have discovered that we have frontend application issues that are caused by bugs in our backend software... ie a bug that triggers abug - but in two completely different separate environments.

We need to tie these together - Is this currently possible?

I could do it the manual way, ie pasting an URL to the other issue in each of the issues... but that is kind of cumbersome..., and it would not show a neat and tidy title of the sibling issue...

Currently, no, but we'll think about it. We planning following features in the next version:
1) Automatically hyperlink text like "#5" to the bug #5.
2) Automatic found similar issue by context (like "similar to" feature in search engine").
