I use subtasks filters and e-mail notification filters and now I am thinking about use subscription filters and I have a question:
Comparing:
a) I use filter FN1 for e-mail notification.
b) I use filter FN1 for subscription with a period of one day.
In case (b) am I going to receive the same notifications that in case (a) but joined in a per day e-mail?
[When I say the same notifications I accept that maybe the format of the subscription is not a simply contatenation of notifications]
Thanks
If I use an e-mail notification filter for subscription I am going to receive all the notification that I would receive obtain the same
Filter subscription more like odinary filters than e-mail notification filters. Primary goal for e-mail notification filter - to define _when_ e-mail should be sent. Primary goal for filters/e-mail notification - _what_ filter's results should contains.
With filter subscription you can get list of all required tasks/messages periodically. We find filter subscription useful for the following tasks:
- list all not closed high-priority tasks
- list all tasks and messages, that has been resolved today
Note, that in filter subscription we analyze all messages, not the last one (like in e-mail notification).
PS. Filter subscription is very simple feature, much more simpler than e-mail notification rules
