Moving reports/filters up the tree

Postby TimPigden » Sun Feb 19, 2012 2:59 pm

How do I move a report or filter so that it is usable in a wider context?
For example I may have 2 levels of project. I create a really nice filter in a sub-project, but then want to see it in my other sub-project. Is there a way to do it?

Not we have not had this functions yet.
Usually we create all filters under main projects, it will distributed on all subtasks.

thanks - I guess the same applies to any categories or workflows defined anywhere below the root - they can't be moved. Is that the case?

Generally, you can move with SQL up in the tree (closer to root), but moving down can be dangerous. Anyway, it's better to create filters/categories/workflows closer to the root task, if you not sure.
