I have used several Issue Tracking systems, like Mantis ( http://mantisbt.sourceforge.net/) but I usually have to custimize them alot to use them as just an Issue Tracker. This product looks great and even better is that it is Java and runs on many app and db servers.
I can run small projects by using an Issue Tracker as a Project management tool instead of something like Microsoft Project. The ability to create hierarchical tasks can make this work very well.
A small feature that I would like to see is to be able to create folders in which to upload files. I tend to upload many project level documents, such as Project Status Reports, Meeting Minutes, How-Tos,etc. and they tend to get lumped together and hard to find. I know that I can add files at the task level, but it would be nice to have folders at the project level to organize documents.
Even better would be a document management capability within the issue tracker like OWL (http://owl.sourceforge.net/), but just allowing folders would be a very helpful.
Even without these features it is far better than most products - Thanks for listening!
