When viewing the Messages tab of a task and clicking the "Go to Parent" button, a blank message is created. I would expect the message to only be saved when the "Save" button was clicked, not also on "Go to Parent'. Is this expected behavior or a bug? We're using 2.7.5 Enterprise. Thanks.

This is feature Useful when you need add messages to several tasks (for example, close some verified bugs)

I love features!
Would it be possible to not save message if they are empty? Or is there some usefulness to having emply messages that I cannot see? Thanks.

If you edit several messages at once (via bulk edit tool) - it saves only messages with text, not empty messages.

Yes, you can change state, handler, resolution, actual budget even with empty message. In 2.8 you also can change priority, budget and deadline. So, message can be only description why you decide to raise priority, but you can do it without any comments.

I like Go To Parent saving - it makes things much quicker

On the Bulk Edit Tool - probably a stupid question, but where is it? It'd be great to be able to edit a load of tasks at once, especially post build when I need to close a lot of tasks at once.

Just enable "View messages" and "Bulk processing tool" in the filter settings.
