On TS Host I can add new items as normal, but when I look at the item the description field is empty. I am not sure if the field is just not displaying the text or if it has been dropped. I am using Chrome 16.0.912.63 on windows xp 32 bit. There does not seem to be any error messages on the page.

Yes, I see this issue, hope to fix it this weekend.
