Custom field not saving

Postby michaelneale » Mon Sep 15, 2003 6:21 am

I created a custom field in a Task.

I then created a subtask and saved it (nothing entered in the custom field).

When I went back to edit the task tab, it wont save the value in the custom field that I had created.

I can't reproduce this bug. Please send me more:
1) You have this problem only with some specific custom field, or with all ?
2) Can you duplicate this bug ?
3) What field type (integer/list) you create ? Any default value ?

I am using a string field, Order=1, no default, not required.

Yes I can reproduce it consistently (it never works).

I still can't reproduce this bug. Can you reproduce it on our hosted service (live demo) ?

Am using Oracle 8.1.7, and Track Studio 2.7 (not sure of exact number). I cannot reproduce it on the live demo system.

Strange, we use the same system on our hosted service.

I have 2 possible solutions:
1) Please try to upgrade to the latest version.
2) Please try to create some new database and test it with it.

PS. We significant rewrite custom field engine in 2.8, possible it help when we release it.
