Ref. my last post, this use case is just a special case of filtering tasks from a set of projects.

E.g. The dep.manager wants a list of all unresolved issues in his organization.

Hierarchies are nice, but I need to be able to do global search.

If you interesting in the multi-project search/reporting/notification rules/etc please find "with subtasks" check box in the filter settings, I hope you find it very useful
