I am evaluating TrackStudio Host on the 2 user license. I have built up a small, but useful set of issues and projects and I wanted to share this with a coworker to see if it would really be useful for small teams. Thus, I added a new user. Everything seemed to be okay, so, being curious, I tried to add another user. My quota of users was exceeded and I was told that I could not create a new user. Ok.
The problem was, that it seems that the password or user that I was logged in with was clobbered for some reason. So when I returned I could not longer log in with my originally registered user. I have not found anyway to recover this user and as it is the first user, it is that user that controls all the issues.
I logged in with the second user and this worked fine. Because I had created this user to see the issues of the first user I can still see my information. Just to be sure I tried to create another user with my second user. I was promptly told that I could not as my license did not allow it. OK. Then I opened another browser and tried to log in with the second user and could not. So I reset the password of the second user in my first browser and then I could login my second user using the new password.
To sumarize, I think there is a bug in TrackStudio host that clobbers the password of the current user if that user tries to add a new user and does not have the right to do so.
My only problem now is how do I recover my original user?
Any help would be appreciated.
