Hi,

When clicking a task, the messages tab opens up instead of the task tab. I s there any way to change this behaviour?
I am using the trackstudio hosted version.

No, but you can add "navigator" column to the subtasks list (see filter properties). Navigator allows you to open any tab (subtasks, task, message, uploads).

Is there any way to edit the defined categories?

You can also see/add messages there :-)

No, because they inherited from root task. But you can define your own user statuses (groups), create your own categories/workflows and allow access only to your categories (can create/modify/delete) for your user statuses.

hmmm..
how do I define my own user groups/categories? I can't seem to find the option...
