I am trying to use the 'bulk processing tool' in a filter combined with the 'with subtasks checkbox option'.

All seem ok, but when I try to send messages the explorer go to a blank page and nothig occur.

After a time I discovered that TrackStudio uses the message comment/description field to determine for what tasks it has to send a message. Then I suppose that there is a bug when you dont complete none message and you try to send. And the bug is that the explorer go to a blank page and not to the same or to an error page.

1) I have created a filter where I am the handler with 'with subtasks checkbox option' and 'bulk processing tool' actives.
2) I view all the tasks where I am the handler and I can insert a new message.

Simple workaround - when you run filter with subtasks and bulk edit tool, you should run it from task that you have access.

Simple workaround - when you run filter with subtasks and bulk edit tool, you should run it from task that you have access.

I am not sure that this was my problem.... If I write the description/comment then all run ok.

Yes, this is feature. It allow you use bulk edit tool to add messages only for several tasks, not all filtered. Its even more important in 2.8 where it it allows change priority/deadline/budget only for several tasks and don't touch other tasks (and generate a lot of email notifications).

Possible, better solution to check new state and previous state and add message only if state changed, but it require much more processor time and more complex to implement. We remeber about this solution

Yes, this is bug, of course. We already fix it in 2.8. OK, we'll fix it and release 2.7.7
