Has the behaviour for handling custom fields in filters changed somewhere between version 3.5.14 and 3.5.25?
Just noticed this and while updating to version 3.5.27 to see if it fixed the problem, I've stupidly deleted version 3.5.14 so can't reproduce to check
We have a filter called "All" that includes in the displayed columns a custom field that was only defined for certain documents. e.g., documents are either "Support Request" or "Change Request". Only Change Requests have a custom field of "Change Type" and this was selected as a column to display. i.e., filter on "Change Type (Change Request) is "---All---".
In version 3.5.14 and earlier, I'm sure the filter included all Support Requests and Change Requests. The column displayed the Change Type for Change Requests and was blank for Support Requests.
In version 3.5.25 and 3.5.27, Support Requests are no longer included in the display.
The original behaviour is what I would expect and what I need.
Has the behaviour changed and is the current behaviour correct ???

It's very possible that we have changed it, please send me your anonymized database backup + how to replicate. _________________ Maxim Kramarenko (mailto: maximkr@trackstudio.com)

That's fine. We'll work around it for the moment.
I take it that your expectation is that it would be working the way I expected rather than the way it appears to be?
If the current behaviour is correct, then I'll need to think about restructuring our work practices.

I don't know - we need to check. Custom field/user groups visibility is a problem area for us, sometimes someone complain about them, we change them, and later somebody complain too
So, I can imagine, that this has been changed, but not sure how and why. _________________ Maxim Kramarenko (mailto: maximkr@trackstudio.com)
