I defined a trigger in Script section, but can not view from drop down list in my Category.

I realize there are at least two categories of trigger:1 for Message;2.for Category.
Category can not view Message trigger and vice and versa. |

Yes, because you cannot use task triggers for messages or for calculated custom field (and vice and versa).
