It seems that the TS GUI hotkeys dont differenciate between the Alt and AltGr (right side Alt) keys. This is a problem for Norwegian keyboards where several characters are on AltGr-combinations.

AltGr-2: @ - Conflict
AltGr-3: £
AltGr-4: $
AltGr-7: {
AltGr-8: [
AltGr-9: ] - Conflict
AltGr-0: }
AltGr-E: ˆ - Conflict

to mention some.

This means the ˆ, @ and ] characters cannot be input into any TS editor field, as they are interpreted as hotkey combos. Not good.

It it possible to make the GUI differentiate between AltGr and Alt combos?

OK, thanks for clear description. We've listen about this problem before, but cannot understand what's wrong.

Hope to fix it soon.

This will be fixed in 3.5.23, we'll use Alt-Ctrl-something for hotkeys instead of Alt-something. We'll release it early next week.

Strange, I cannot replicate it.

This bug has been reintroduced in 3.5.27

AltGr+2 = @
AltGr+E = ˆ
AltGr+9 = ]

are now unusable on norwegian keyboards again.

Hence, I cannot input email adresses, monetary info in Euro, etc. in any editor.

This is a major problem.

Cannot replicate this problem. Please send us more info, screenshots, etc.
We have tried to setup norwegian keyboard, and can input @ without problems.

I tried it with Firefox 2.0.0.13, and Firefox does not show this problem.

Using MSIE 7.0.5730.13, it works in the memo editors, but it fails in the single line edit boxes.

If you create a new task, project or user, and try inputting ˆ or @ in the single line editfield Description, AltGr+2 copies the current task number to clipboard, and AltGr+E switches view to to the users list.

In MSIE paranoid mode, first time I press AltGr+2 after opening the trackstudio site, I get the "Do you want to allow this website to access your clipboard?" confirm dialog from MSIE, and if I allow it - it copies the current task number to clipboard.

Similar for the other AltGr-combos. They work in the memo editor, but not in the single line edit boxes.

This problem is a bit of a show-stopper for us, as we cannot expect external users to be able to self-register if they cannot correctly input their email address. Most of our users will probably be MSIE users.

Are you using an actual norwegian keyboard with a physical AltGr key?
http://www.microsoft.com/GLOBALDEV/keyboards/kbdno.htm
Mouse over the AltGr key to see which combos that exist.
